Penang Hill|A City Highlands Where Mountain Meets Sea
Skywalk and English afternoon tea experience in the cool mountains and forests
Penang Hill (Also known as Penang Hill) is located in the middle of Penang Island. It is the highest point in Penang. The main peak is 833 meters above sea level. Among them, Penang Hill, which is 735 meters above sea level, is the most well-developed area. It is also a summer paradise for local residents and tourists.
Cable car mountaineering: 4 minutes to the clouds
Visitors can take the Penang Hill cable car all the way from the foot of the mountain to the top, and it takes only 4 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy the cascading mountains and forests and the distant sea views. When the weather is clear, you can even see the skyline and bridge of Georgetown.
The Habitat: Immerse yourself in the natural mysteries of the pristine rainforest
After arriving at the top of the mountain, don't miss the famous The Habitat. This ecological exploration park has a well-preserved rainforest trail, suspension bridge, and high-altitude viewing platform "Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk".
Here, you can observe birds and tropical plants up close, and listen to insects and birds. It is a paradise for lovers of nature and photography.
Climb the treetop trail at dusk to get a better view of the sunset over the Penang Strait.
British high Mountain Afternoon Tea
Penang Hill has been a summer villa area for nobles since the British colonial period, and it still retains a strong British atmosphere today.
Enjoying an alpine English afternoon tea at David Brown's Restaurant and Tea Terrace on the top of the mountain is one of the most recommended experiences for tourists.
Sitting on the garden terrace, tasting scones and black tea, overlooking the entire city, makes people feel like traveling through time and experiencing the elegant style of the 19th century.
