2025 Malaysia Digital Entry Card (MDAC)

All foreign travelers to Malaysia must fill in the Malaysian Digital Entry Card (MDAC) within 3 days before departure and ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months before entering the country.

2025 Singapore Digital Entry Card (MyICA)

All foreign travelers to Singapore must download the MyICA Mobile App, the official app of the Singapore Customs Authority (ICA), and fill in the entry information in the app before departure. After completion, a QR code (QR Code) will be generated for easy use during immigration inspections.

Voltage and socket

The voltage in Malaysia is 220V and a three-pin columnar socket (British plug) is used. Passengers are advised to bring their own universal adapter plugs to avoid inconvenience.

Exchange rates and currencies

The currency unit of Malaysia is the Malaysian Ringgit (RM/MYR).
The main banknotes are: RM1, RM5, RM10, RM20, RM50, and RM100.
Before departure, you can exchange a small amount of cash in Taiwan as a backup, and then exchange it locally. The exchange rate is usually better.
There are many foreign exchange exchanges in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur, which is convenient and safe.
