How to get to Redang Island

There are two main ways to get to Redang Island：

Depart from Kuala Terengganu：
You can first take a plane to Terengganu Airport (Sultan Mahud Airport), then go to the pier (Merang Jetty or Shahbandar Jetty), and take a boat to Redang Island. The boat journey takes about 40 to 60 minutes.
Depart from Kuala Lumpur or other cities：
If there is no direct flight, you can also take a bus, drive or charter a car to Terengganu. The whole journey takes about 6 to 8 hours. After arriving, take a boat to the island.

Small reminder: Most resorts and ferry services will be suspended during the monsoon period from November to March of the following year. It is recommended to avoid this period of time.
